We've had a bumper start to the New Year down here at Paragon with six Porsches sold in the last few days alone - ranging from a 987 Boxster S right through to an Ultraviolet 991 GT3RS!
So if you're looking for your perfect Porsche it might be a good idea to pop down sooner rather than later...
Time flies working at Paragon - especially if you're enthusiastic about Porsche - and for our very own Jamie Tyler it has indeed flown. Still looking remarkably similar to the fresh-faced youth who joined us all those years ago, his enthusiasm remains as infectious as ever.
So here's to another twenty five years of Jamie, who we are sure loves his job so much that he will continue past his retirement age, helping customers old and new find their perfect Porsche!
We'd like to wish all of our customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We're open for much of the festive period and there is always a ready stock of great coffee and mince pies - so do drop in and see us!
We're always happy to welcome the members of TIPEC (the Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club) to Paragon - and they stopped over to see us for breakfast on Sunday.
One of the benefits of having them join us is the amazing array of Porsche they drive over - and this Sunday was no exception.
Our very own Mark Sumpter took two second place finishes at Brand Hatch to claim the title after a hard-fought race series - driving his Paragon-prepared 911 C2.
The value and expertise of the Paragon service team was key to the victory - as an incident in qualifying where Mark was pushed off the track meant damage to the car had to be expertly fixed - and quickly. The team did an amazing job - and expert driving by Mark meant that he clinched the series.
As Mark says “We’ve had such a fantastic year and it’s really been a team effort to win the championship”.
Find out more about the series - and Paragon Motorsport here.
We're delighted to announce that Luke Willmer has joined Paragon in our Service Department. A qualified technician for more than fifteen years, and with a passion for all things Porsche, he is a valuable addition to our team.
The timing and weather was perfect for the annual 356 Register Spring Drive, where a group of like-minded owners made the best of the beautiful Kent and Sussex countryside in these exceptional historic Porsches.
Starting at the 7 Diner in Halstead, the 356 convoy travelled through the stunning Kent countryside toward a welcome lunch at The Woolpack in Rye.
We were then delighted to welcome them at Paragon for afternoon coffee and cakes after their trip from historic Rye to Five Ashes. There was a substantial and enthusiastic turnout for this great event organised by Richard East - we very much look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.
Our beautiful Polar Silver 911 GT2 that's currently for sale features in the latest issue of Total 911. Written by Kyle Fortune the feature gives an indepth view of this iconic super car and some stunning photography on the glorious Sussex roads...

Will joins Adrian to make sure that all the Paragon cars are kept to the highest possible standard - exactly as you would expect.
We were delighted to welcome members of TIPEC (The independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club) to Paragon for breakfast on March 18th. They enjoyed seeing our new facilities - but most of all enjoyed viewing the Carrera GT that we currently have for sale.
Because of their rarity, it was the first time many of the members had seen one - and for Porsche enthusiasts it makes a big impression!
We're delighted to welcome Adrian to the Paragon team as our new Valeter/Detailer.
Adrian has worked in automotive valeting for a number of years and is a certified master detailer - so when you visit Paragon for a service or valet you can be sure your Porsche will be in the safest of hands.
He will also help prepare our Porsche for sale.
A hard-fought but good-humoured season was won overall by Mark McAleer, with Mark Sumpter in his Paragon-liveried 996 challenging his early dominance through some exciting on-track battles.
With the points standing tied at 428 points each, the victory went to Mark McAleer via his 12 best scores.
"It's been a brilliant season and a really fun championship - we've had some fantastic battles with our competitors. Congratulations to Mark McAleer and his team, they dominated early on and fully deserve to be Champions this year".
"We ran a new car this year and early in the season we didn't manage to get the absolute best out of it. During the second half however we were the fastest car so we're looking forward to 2018!".
It promises to be an exciting battle next year - and we'll keep you updated in our Motorsport section.
We were delighted to have a great selection of cars and drivers from the Boxster Register join us for a Sunday breakfast meet, which also gave them a chance to see our new facilities. They then headed off for a drive through the beautiful Sussex countryside.
Karl has joined us to work with Will on valeting and preparation of both the Porsche we have for sale and the cars of our valued service customers.
With a keen eye for detail and lots of experience, he has already become a valuable member of the team.

Over 40 members of this very popular club took the opportunity to look around the new showroom and newly-equipped workshop. Jamie as usual got his apron on and provided a feast of bacon and sausage rolls which proved popular.
There was an amazing selection of Porsche, both classic and modern and Mark had his Carrera GT in the showroom for the day.
It was great to see everyone and we look forward to seeing club members next year!
Starting at the 7 Hotel & Diner in Halstead for pancakes at 8.30am, a dozen 356s appeared including Speedsters & Coupes in a variety of colours from a range of production years.
The convoy then progressed along a well-planned route along the B roads of Kent and East Sussex, enjoying the crisp air and bright sunshine until it arrived at Paragon for coffee. Everyone was very impressed with the progress of the new showroom, which we will be delighted to unveil on this website as soon as the finishing touches are done.
Then the first leg finished at the Blackboys Inn for an excellent lunch, with the return leg setting out from there.
Work continues apace on our exciting new showroom and expanded Service department as we enter the New Year. Obviously we are fully open for business in both sales and service, and you're very welcome to pop in for a coffee of you'd like to see how progress is going!
Our beautiful 1968 short wheelbase 911S features in Total 911 magazine this month, with Kyle Fortune driving a long road test to Beachy Head in Sussex. 'The First Performance 911' article explains the history of the 911S and the fact that this car was one of the last of the short wheelbase models.
We hosted a breakfast morning for the Kent & Sussex region of TIPEC (The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club). Bacon and sausage rolls and freshly squeezed orange juice were served and a good number of members attended with their beautiful cars.
The Spa-Francorchamps circuit is as well known for its much loved undulating layout as it is for changeable weather conditions. At the 2016 Spa Classic, the track certainly lived up to its reputation with lovely spring conditions on Friday, followed by the odd hail shower on Saturday and Sunday.
Headlining the Spa Classic were the pair of Group C races run on Sunday. The star cars in the field were the Jaguar XJR-14 of Christophe d'Ansembourg, the Peugeot 905 of Dominique Guenat and the Porsche 962 of Mark Sumpter. It was most likely the first time these were pitched against each other since the 1991 World Championship and it was certainly the first time a Peugeot 905 was ever run at Spa. Unfortunately an incident in the second qualifying prevent the Peugeot from starting in the races. The XJR-14 did survive qualifying with d'Ansembourg setting the fastest time ahead of Mark Sumpter in the ultimate development of the works Porsche 962Cs.
Christophe d'Ansembourg had a great start but then made a mistake coming onto the straight and crashed into the wall. The damage was sufficient to prompt a retirement. The lead was taken over by Sumpter, who was in a close fight with Erwin France in a another 962C. After the pit-stops, Pierre-Alain France had taken over from his son and could not keep up with Sumpter. Ultimately he was also passed by Robin Ward in his Spice SE90C. The XJR-14 could not be repaired, so the results of the second race were virtually identical with Sumpter again winning from Ward and the Frances.
The Sussex region of the Porsche Club Great Britain joined us for breakfast on the 15th of May bringing an amazing selection of new and old Porsche models. The weather was great and the bacon & sausage sandwiches went down well! Thank you to everyone who donated to the Sussex Air Ambulance during the visit.
Jim Dennis has been a qualified vehicle technician for 11 years and is a classic Porsche & Volkswagen enthusiast.
He brings a wealth of experience to our busy service team and we're delighted to welcome him on board!
Mark is just back from a brilliant weekend with friends and colleagues in the Porsche world where they tried their hands at driving on lake ice courtesy of the team at Below Zero Ice Driving. The lake lies at a latitude of 63 degrees north, 6km from Kall in Sweden and the ice usually reaches about a metre deep.
It was a real challenge - but above all terrific fun with a variety of courses to drive in competition prepared 911s. All those who went would thoroughly recommend the experience!
John Day, a long term Paragon customer was recently at Brands Hatch for a track day in his Paragon supplied and modified GT3 when the instructor mentioned that someone was rather keen on a passenger ride.
Surprisingly, this keen passenger turned out to be artist Zoe Webster who really enjoyed the flying laps with John and as a gesture sent him this rather splendid painting of his GT3 going through the Paddock Hill Bend!
41 years after Giorgio Schön and Giovanni Borri raced their Porsche 3.0 RSR in the 1974 Paul Ricard 1000 Kms, the very same car was back there to race in the Peter Auto Classic Endurance Series. RSR chassis 911 460 9074 has a significant period racing history in the 1974-1975 World Manufacturers Championship and is one only 54 genuine examples built by the Porsche racing department and delivered during the period.
The car was co-driven by BRDC member Mark Sumpter of Paragon Porsche and Lee Maxted-Page. Several other original cars from the 1974 1000 kms were also entered at the same meeting, together with both Jürgen Barth and Gerrard Larrousse, still doing what they do best, in a magnificent Porsche 917/10 and Porsche 908 Longtail.
We would like to thank all our customers and everyone that voted for us. It means a lot to the whole Paragon team to be recognised this way.
Held at the premises of Hexagon in Finchley, a full house of Porsche enthusiasts enjoyed a great evening hosted by Henry Hope-Frost which included an insightful and amusing chat and Q&A with the winner of Porsche Personality of the year Nick Tandy.
We would also like to thank all of the people that were involved with the organisation and running of what was a truly wonderful event.
With 50 members attending, and Mark & Jamie cooking locally sourced sausages and burgers, it was as ever a great success.
We look forward to welcoming them all back soon for future events!
It was great seeing friends old and new from the Porsche community and the successful event was capped with the Coys Auction of classic Porsche. A great day that we can thoroughly recommend. We'll see you there next year!
We'll be there with some of our classic Porsche and we'll be driving up in convoy on the Sunday morning - so you may see us on route!
To complete the picture is the gorgeous 997 Speedster that we supplied last year - kindly loaned and driven by the current owner especially for the shoot. The Sussex coastal scenery (as ever) made it the perfect location for the shoot by Daniel Pullen.
At just 6 years old, Freddie is already following in his dad's footsteps.
Adrian Slater has raced with Paragon for many years and must be very proud of this amazing accomplishment.
We're looking forward to future successes for Freddie in his karting career.
Our favourite photographer James Lipman was back with us for a couple of days to capture some more images to use across our website and print media. Aside from some photography around the workshop we also spent a day on Ashdown Forest with some of our favourite stock. We were blessed with amazing weather and we'll be featuring some of his work here soon!

Steve Wright from Classic Porsche magazine had the enviable task of a spin out into the Sussex countryside in our classic 1957 356 Speedster.
Driving down to Goodwood, it's obvious that this restoration by Jim Shoh is as close to perfect as it's possible to get, and the car handles the road condiitions and stays watertight in some very grotty weather at the end of the day.
